11,5 km up in the sky and a 26 hours day

USA here we come! Yesterday we left at 5.30 AM to catch our plane to Los Angeles, CA. It was a long (approximately eleven hours) but really comfortable flight, with good food (pizza!). After the flight, I picked up our car, did some groceries and went to our rented apartment. I must say, I hadn’t quite figured out the traffic rules, but with a lot of honking from locals, I learned pretty quick.

The apartment we rented is a nice and homey place, with really comfortable beds. After we dropped our stuff here and freshened up, we went off to Santa Monica for the evening. Such an iconic place. I can’t wait to see more of this incredible city! Keep u posted! Cheers!

Day 3 in les Vosges

Third and final day in the Vosges today. It was a lovely calm day. We went on a road trip through the mountains and went for a short hike to a canyon waterfall. After that we went for a swim and ordered lots of unhealthy but very tasteful food.

It was a lovely last day for us. Tomorrow, we will drive back home and then I will prepare everything for the USA.

Day 2 in the Vosges

Yesterday we had our second day in the vosges. The weather was lovely, and we decided to do some activities again. So we went horseback riding in the mountains! It was an amazing experience. The horse went straight up the mountain from time to times!

After the adventure we went went to the lama mountain! Here, there is a special farm wit only lamas and alpacas! We got a tour and were able to feed and pet the lamas and alpacas. They are soo soft!!!

After all this we went back to our campsite, took a nice swim and went off the water slide a hundred times. Then, we went into the village Thillot, were bands were playing that night.

It it was a pleasant day. Looking forward towards what this day will bring us. Keep you posted. Cheers!
