Last weekend I spend the weekend in Vegby, a little town close to Uppsala, somewhat more up north in Sweden. I spend the entire weekend with family there, which was great. We ate nice dinners, and went bowling on Saturday.

On Sunday, we all went out for a nice long hike through the forest hills. It was a 7km hike right through the woods and alongside the lakes. It was beautiful! We had an amazing time!

So now it is time for a new week! I am entering a course for the rest of the time here, which is a course in Eye-Tracking. So far, it has been fairly interesting so I can't wait to see what this week brings!

Cheers!

Hey all! Sorry for being away for a while, but I had a small holiday, in which I visited home, in Holland. I got to see the entire family, which was great and gave me a lot of energy and happiness again. I just got back to Sweden, so now I have to get used to the everyday life here again!

During the holiday I had a nice day away with my mom, I got to be at my parents house for a few days, and afterwards I went to my boyfriend, to visit him for a few days. And we went climbing together! Which was so much fun!

I also visited my grandparents! So a full week full of love.

Talk to you later about Sweden! Cheers!

I still have to tell you all about last week! Last week, I spend my time in Furuvik, which is a village in the central east part of Sweden, so pretty high up in the country. Here, they have Furuviksparken, which is a nice and spacious zoo and amusement park.

In the zoo, the research station of the primate research group of LUCS is located, which practically means that this is the place where we work with apes. Orang-utans and Chimpanzees, to be precise. And this week, it was time for me to meet them! It was a great experience, and I got to watch the animals for a few hours a day. I also got taught how to collect data by filming them, which was very interesting.

It was a wonderful experience and I wanted to share a little bit of it with you, so please enjoy the photo that I took of Indah, the almost 2 year old orang-utan that I am currently studying! Cheers!
