Today, we did one of the most amazing and awesome things ever! We went to see another canyon, the canyonlands canyon. But this time, we went to see it from off a power boat! This boat went up to sixty miles an hour! The boat was of the spin king, famous for the spins he could do with his boat. Ranging through the canyon, spinning, twisting and getting really wet multiple times, we discovered this beautiful canyon! It was really an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone! The organisation is called Spin and Splash jet boat tour. Do you dare to ride the king? It went so fast, that in the first minute I gave my cap to the captain because it blew off (even while I was wearing extra straps around it and wore it backwards). During the next minute, I lost my glasses because a large wave hit my face! Luckily, it was still on the floor of the boat so I could put it away! During the ride, we also saw some bighorn sheep. You do not see them very often, so it was really special. They came down the canyon as we passed them.
After doing the spin and splash for one hour, we were all pretty tired and really wet. So we went home to clean ourselves up and get some rest.
In the afternoon, some of us went to the town of moab, to visit some local stores and do some groceries. And I went on a little road trip down the canyon. There, I discovered something really awesome. There was a sign that said; dinosaur trail. So we pulled up, and I got out to check it out. There were actual natural dinosaur footsteps on that mountain. I ran up the mountain and saw them myself! It was amazing to see the steps of these huge animals that lived many many years ago. I was so extremely excited, since I have always been very much interested in the Jurassic period! It was magical!
After taking a look, we headed back home, where others were cooking dinner already.
